Dr. Roberta Wrighten grew up as an Air Force dependent, moving every three years and living in five different locations, including Colorado, England, and Virginia.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Alabama. She graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010 and began her professional career in general practice in Newnan. She has also worked in high-volume, high-quality spay/neuter and shelter medicine in Columbus, GA, before returning to Newnan to continue her work in general practice.
Her veterinary interests include dentistry, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and behavior.
Dr. Wrighten enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, her daughter, Shelby, and close friends she considers family. She currently has one cat, Bond (James Bond), and a ball python, Jodi. In her free time, Dr. Wrighten enjoys paper-crafting, SEC football, good books, and movies.
